Remittances are documents that group several payments or collections and allow you to settle transactions with your customers or suppliers more agilely. From Holded, you can easily create them, upload them to your online banking, and change their status as the process progresses. Here we explain how to do it step by step.
☝🏼 This feature is only available for Corporate accounts.
1. Create a collection or payment remittance
Follow these steps to create your first remittance:
Go to Treasury > Remittances.
Click on the + button (top right corner) and select New payment or collection remittance, as needed.
In the panel that opens, fill in the following fields:
Item.
Remittance date.
Bank that will execute the order.
SWIFT/BIC.
Presenter identifier (in payment remittances) or creditor identifier (in collection remittances): This is a code that identifies you in the SEPA system as the person responsible for the direct debit. Both roles share the same number. If you do not know which one it is, ask your bank for it.
If you need it, check the following options:
Partial payments: to remit only a part of the amount of an invoice.
Single due date: to use the same due date for all documents in the remittance.
In the list on the left, select the invoices you want to include in the remittance by checking their checkboxes.
If you have activated the Partial payments option, when you check an invoice, a field will open for you to indicate the amount you wish to remit. Then click on Create.
Once added, you will see the amounts remitted in the corresponding column. Next to it, you will see a number indicating how many remittances each invoice includes. Hover your mouse over it to see the concept and date of each one.
Click on Save (top right corner).
Download the generated file and upload it to your online banking to execute the payment order.
2. Edit or delete an existing remittance
Once you have created a remittance, you can edit it, delete it, or change its status:
Go to Treasury > Remittances.
Click on the remittance you want to modify.
In the upper right corner of the panel, open the menu (⋮) and select the action you need:
Edit: Change any data in the remittance.
Delete: delete the remittance.
You can also change the status of the remittance using the drop-down menu:
Pending: You have not yet uploaded the remittance to your online banking.
Processing: You have already uploaded it, but it has not yet been completed.
Completed: the collections or payments of the remittance have already been executed.
