If you no longer need to use one of your Bank, Card, Gateway or Cash accounts, Holded allows you to archive it, restore it when you need it or delete it permanently.

Archive a bank account

You can archive accounts that you no longer use. To do this:

  1. In the list, select the Bank, Card, Gateway, or Cash account you want to archive.

  2. Click on the three-dot menu (⋮) located in the upper right corner.

  3. Click on "Archive".

Your account will be moved to the “Archived” list. To view it, go to Treasury > Banks and apply the Archived accounts filter.

☝🏼 Once archived, payments and receipts for that account will be marked as “Unassigned”.

Unarchiving a bank account

If at any time you wish to restore a previously archived account:

  1. In the list, apply the filter for archived accounts.

  2. Select the account you wish to restore.

  3. Click the “Unarchive” button at the top right.

Your account will reappear in the general list.

Deleting a bank account

To delete an account, it must first be on file. Once it is on file, follow these steps to delete it:

  1. Filter by “Archived”, and select the account you wish to delete.

  2. Open the three-dot menu (⋮) in the upper right corner.

  3. Click on Delete.

☝🏼 Note that when you delete an account, it will disappear permanently, but the associated payments and journal entries will remain in the system.
