Bank reconciliation is a process that allows you to post all payments and receipts you have on your bank statement. In this way, the data available in Holded always reflects a true and reliable image of the accounting situation of your business.

Below, you will find the two ways to reconcile remittances that exist in Holded, depending on whether you change the status to "completed" or perform the reconciliation from Banks.

Reconcile with remittance status to "completed"

  1. Access the remittance you want to reconcile.

  2. In the General section, located on the right, you will see the Pending option. Click on this dropdown and change the status to Completed.

When you mark the remittance as complete , all the documents that have been attached to it will appear as paid. In addition, a payment will be added to each invoice for the remittance amount, the bank will be indicated in the remittance and its corresponding entry will be generated in the journal.

  3. Then, from the navigation bar, go to Treasury > Banks.

  8. Click Reconcile.

    • When performing the reconciliation, the remittance will go to the Completed status, the documents included in it will remain as paid, and the payment or collection will be registered in accounting with its corresponding entry .

    • You can filter by Reconciled from the Bank statement and click on a specific movement to check against which documents it has been reconciled. These will appear on the right, from where you can access the document to see more details about it.
