The option to import the bank statement into Holded is necessary when manually adding bank and card type accounts in Holded. It is also important to note that debit cards are not synchronised in Holded, so importing the statement is a mandatory step in order to be able to consult the movements made with cards.

To import the bank statement, you have to:

  1. Access Banks from the navigation bar.

  2. Click on the Banks or Cards button , both located under the graphs.

  3. Select the Bank or Card account to which you want to import the statement.

  4. Click on the three-dot menu (⋮), first, and then on Import.

  5. Download the import template.

  6. Complete the template and upload it to Holded.

Finally, please note that the payments or receipts you import using the template will have a cloud symbol, so that you can differentiate them from those movements imported using automatic synchronisation.

Clarifications on the template fields

  • In the date field, enter the date in dd/mm/yyyy format.

  • In the concept field, enter the name of the movement.

  • In the amount field, you must enter a positive number for income or receipts and a negative number for expenses or purchases.

  • In the balance field, enter the balance in the corresponding currency. This field is obtained by adding and subtracting the inflows and outflows of money in the account.

  • In the optional field for the amount of euro, it will only appear in import templates for accounts set up in a currency other than euro. Therefore, you can use this column to enter the euro equivalent of the figure entered in the Amount column.
