How can I synchronize the contacts?

It is not possible to transfer the complete contacts database from Prestashop to Holded. The contacts will be automatically generated in Holded during the synchronization of sales.

For this, you need to use the Order or Invoice synchronization.

If you want the contacts to be created in Holded, simply go to Holded > Settings > Integrations > Prestashop > and activate this option.

Remember that if you choose not to create contacts in Holded, the customer information in your orders may be incomplete.

Why are the contact details not visible on the Prestashop invoice/sales ticket?

This happens if you have not checked the Create contact option in the Prestashop settings in Holded.

For Amazon and Wix integration, the contact details may appear even if the option is unchecked. However, in Shopify, WooCommerce and Prestashop, if you do not create the contact, their information will not be displayed in the document.

Can I link a contact already created in Holded to a PrestaShop contact?

No, it is not possible to manually link contacts synchronised through the integration with those you have created in Holded, even if they share the same NIF or email address.

The contacts that come through the integration have a special PrestaShop identifier that helps you to recognise them. If the same contact makes several purchases, the Orders or Invoices will be associated with the contact automatically created in Holded through the initial integration.

Remember, the association only occurs if the contact in Holded was created for the first time via the integration (via a first order). Manually created contacts cannot be associated in this way.

What information do we import from the contact?

From Prestashop, we import data such as town, province, postcode and country, address, ID number, email address, mobile and landline phone number into Holded.

Is a new duplicate contact created in Holded if a synchronized customer places another order in Prestashop?

No, if a customer places several orders, a single contact will be created in Holded. The first order placed by the customer will create the contact, and subsequent orders will be linked to that same existing contact.
