Bookings is the Holded functionality that allows you to create a profile for your business, assign your services, and make a reservation calendar available to your customers. This way, your customers can see your available schedules and book the service they need at the time that suits them best.

For example, a hair salon can offer haircuts and coloring with easily bookable schedules directly from your website.

💎 Activate the Booking Pro gem, in the Holded Store, and remove all restrictions: create multiple locations and spaces, view all reservations without limits, and modify the public URL according to your needs.

Once the gem is activated, and to log in, as a user, simply:

  1. Log in to Holded.

  2. Go to CRM > Bookings.

The first time you access Bookings, you will be able to configure the basic aspects of your business (click on the links to learn how to configure them):

Once configured, the home page will display the following information:

  • Shortcuts: location, settings, sharing, calendar, new booking.

  • Performance indicators.

  • Upcoming reservations.

  • Recent activity.

Performance indicators (KPIs)

Once you have configured the basic data of your business, at the top of the Reservations home page, you will find several indicators that give you a quick overview of your performance. These are:

  • Today's bookings: number of bookings scheduled for today.

  • Today's sales: the total amount of sales made today.

  • Last month's bookings: number of bookings made during the previous 30 days.

  • Last month's sales: the total amount of sales made during the previous 30 days.

Upcoming reservations

In this section, you will see the next bookings you have confirmed, organized so that the most immediate ones appear first.

You can click the "View all" button to see the complete calendar and manage all your reservations.

In the list, you will see the name of the person booking, the date, the duration of the activity, the service booked, the space where the service will take place, the status (confirmed / cancelled) and the price.

☝🏼 Use the filters, the search engine, or the date selector at the top to speed up your search.

Click on a reservation, in either listing, to view service details and customer information.

Recent activity

From here, you will be able to see the latest changes made by your customers, such as cancellations, time changes, or new reservations. The most recent activity will appear at the top.

Public page

The public page that your customers will see will show the name, type and description of your business, as well as general information and opening hours. In addition, all the services you offer will appear along with their prices.

Each service is associated with specific spaces, each with its own calendar. When a customer selects a service, a calendar will open where they can choose the desired date and time slot.

Make a reservation as a customer

To book a service on your site, your customer must follow these steps:

  1. Choose one of the services offered by clicking on “Book”.

  2. Select the desired day and time from the calendar displayed.

  3. Fill in the requested data: name, email, and phone number, and check that the service details, price, and date are correct.

  4. Click on “Confirm” to finalize the reservation.

Once the booking is confirmed, both you and your client will receive a confirmation email. Your client will also have the option to click on “Download invitation” if they wish to download a file that they can use to integrate the booking details into their calendar.

If in the future they need to change the date, time or cancel the booking, they can follow the same process, receiving a new confirmation email.
