Create services
Services are fundamental to the way Bookings works. In addition to setting up your business details, opening hours, spaces, and booking page, you will need to create services and assign them to a specific location.
You can create services in two different ways:
1. Create a service from the Services section
Learn how to create a service from Catalog > Services by following the instructions in this article.
2. Create a service by adding a space
In "Bookings", each location has different spaces associated with it (chairs, stretchers, courts, etc.) where the services that your customers book are performed. Each space will have different services assigned to it, which you can create by following these steps:
Go to CRM > Bookings.
Under "Settings" (the gear icon at the top) click on "Spaces".
Click on "+ Add space".
💎 Activate the Bookings Pro gem, in the Holded Store, to be able to add additional spaces.
Choose the type of space from the dropdown (room, stretcher, court, etc.).
Use the "Description" field to give a name to your space.
Check the "Specify services" option.
Use the search engine and add new services by clicking on "+Add".
Fill in the fields of your new service:
Name.
Code.
+ Add a description.
Tags.
Sales account.
Price / unit.
Cost / unit.
+ Add time.
Sales tax.
Total.
Color.
Click on "Save".
Location
The location or center is the physical place where your business services are provided. It can be a store, office, salon, gym, etc., and acts as the central point from which reservations and services are managed.
The first time you access Reservations, you will see a default location. You will need to configure it, by adding information such as your business details, opening hours, employees, and the services you offer.
Create additional locations
If your services are provided from more than one center, you can create additional locations by following these steps:
Go to CRM > Bookings.
Click on the location drop-down at the top.
Click "Add new location".
Enter a name and a booking URL.
Click "Create Location".
Your new location will appear in the location dropdown at the top right. To navigate between locations, click on the dropdown, and select the location you want to access.

Deleting a location
To delete a location, follow the steps described here.
Settings
The first time you access Reservations, you will be able to configure the basic aspects of your business. Whenever you need to, you can return to them from the gear icon at the top, where you can also configure other items, such as scheduling settings.

Share
Once you have configured your business details, adding a URL to the location where you want to provide your services, you can start using the "Share" button on the top right.
When you click on this button, you will see two options:
View the public page, just as your customers will.
Copy public link, to make it easy for you to share your website with your customers.
Calendar
At the top of the Reservations homepage, you have direct access to your Holded calendar. All appointments in Bookings are automatically synchronized with the events in your general calendar, making it easy to manage your activities from one place and giving you a complete overview of your schedule.

New booking
Using this button, you can make a reservation on behalf of your customer. This is useful if your customer calls you on the phone, for example, to ask for a reservation or prefers you to help them make a reservation. Follow these steps to complete the booking:
Go to CRM > Bookings.
Click on the "New booking" button in the upper right corner.
Fill in the requested information, including the service, the date, the person's name and email address.
Click on “Create reservation”.
Edit, create a sales ticket, or cancel a reservation
Whether the customer made the reservation directly or you created it on their behalf, you can edit it, create a sales ticket, or cancel it. Follow these steps:
Go to CRM > Bookings.
Find the booking in the “Upcoming bookings” list or, if you don't see it there, click on “View all” to access the complete list.
Select the booking you want to manage and click the “Actions” button at the bottom. Choose one of the following options:
Edit reservation: modify the fields you need and save the changes.
Create sales ticket: choose between a quick ticket (basic details) or a detailed ticket (includes more information) and click on “Create ticket”.
Cancel reservation: cancel the reservation completely by clicking on this option.
