From your Wallet account you send money to any IBAN without leaving the app. You choose the beneficiary from your contacts or type the IBAN manually, decide whether the transfer is instant or arrives in 1-2 business days, and sign it on your bank's page.
Afterwards you can check the transfer's status and send the receipt to the beneficiary by email. From Wallet you also review and adjust your card limits.
Send a transfer
The button to create a transfer only appears if your bank onboarding is complete and you have permission to send money from that account. If onboarding is unfinished, you will see the notice Finish your bank onboarding to transfer money instead.
Go to Wallet.
In the account header, next to the balance, tap the + button (New transfer).
Fill in the form:
Beneficiary: the name of the person receiving the money.
IBAN: the app validates the format as you type and checks that the bank recognizes the account.
Amount: in euros.
Concept.
Transfer type: Instant (a few seconds) or Standard (1-2 business days).
Share transfer receipt: optional checkbox. Selecting it shows the Beneficiary's email field.
Tap Next. The button stays inactive until the form is complete.
On the Review the transfer screen, check the amount, beneficiary, IBAN, concept and type.
Tap Confirm and sign. The app takes you to the bank's page.
Sign on the bank's page. When you return, the app shows the result.
Keep in mind that no money moves without the signature on the bank's page. If you cancel there, the app responds Nothing has been sent.
Choose a beneficiary from contacts
Below the Beneficiary field you have the Choose from contacts link, which opens a search. When you tap a contact, the behavior depends on the bank accounts they have saved:
None: it returns to the form with the name filled in and the IBAN empty, for you to type it manually.
One: it returns to the form with the name and IBAN already filled in.
Several: Which account? opens with the list of accounts and the main one marked as Default.
A contact returning without an IBAN means they have no bank account saved in Holded.
Review the result
The result screen can show several statuses:
Transfer sent: the bank has accepted the order. You will see when it arrives based on the type you chose.
Transfer in progress: the signature has been received and the bank has not yet responded.
Transfer rejected: the bank did not accept the transfer and no money has moved.
The only way out of this screen is Close. If you close with a transfer in progress, check its status in the account statement.
Keep in mind that a signed transfer cannot be canceled from the app, and that there is no dedicated list of sent transfers: they are reviewed in the account statement.
Manage card limits
When a card is close to its spending limit, you receive an alert in the notification center so you can raise it in time.
When a limit increase is approved, the card keeps that limit in every following period, not just the one of the purchase. If nobody lowers it, the one-off increase becomes permanent.
Request a physical card
You can request a physical card for your Wallet account from the app.
Increase the spending limit
If a card's spending limit falls short, you request the increase from the app and receive an alert as soon as it is approved.
Review the limit reminder
Open the notification center by tapping the bell.
If there are cards with a modified limit, you will see a card pinned at the top with the Modify button.
Tap the card or Modify. The Modify limits screen opens with all the affected cards.
This reminder stays pinned at the top while there are cards pending review, and disappears once they are resolved.
Change a card's limit
From Modify limits, for each card:
Tap the card you want to adjust and then Change the limit.
In New card limit, enter the amount and tap Continue.
Review the confirmation and tap Change and sign.
Sign on the bank's page.
Keep in mind that every limit change, up or down, needs a signature at the bank. If you cancel the signature, the limit does not change.
