How to fill in the templates
A. "Take Inventory" Template
The downloaded file will contain the latest version of your inventory on Hold. Edit, if you wish, the available fields:
Columns A, B (SKU) and C (Name): should not be edited as they contain system data so that the update works correctly.
Column D: Movement Description: Use this column to put a description that will appear in the inventory history.
Columns E and above: Represent your stores.
☝🏼 Do not leave any column blank or your product stock will appear as 0 once the template is imported
B. "Adjust Stock by SKU" Template
Fill in the SKU or the number of units of the products you want to update:
Column A (SKU): product code in Holded. It is essential that each product has an assigned code to be able to update the mass stock.
Column B (warehouse ID): you will find it in the Information section when you select the warehouse under Inventory.
Column C (Difference): if you want to subtract the number of units write the number as negative.
Column D (SKU Lot / Number of serial): add the batch number or serial number, in addition to the generic SKU of the product, in case you want to update the stock of a product with batches.
Column E (Date of the Inventory): add the date on which you want the stock movement to be recorded.
C. "Stock adjustment by SKU (with products)" template
Fill in the SKU or the number of units of the products you want to update:
Column A (DO NOT MODIFY): This should not be edited as it contains system data for the update to work correctly.
Column B (SKU): Holded product code. Each product must have an assigned code to be able to update the stock en masse.
Column C (Name): the name of the product.
Column D (Current Stock): is the current stock of your product.
Column E (Warehouse ID): Use this to add the name or ID of the warehouse.
Column F (Add units): is where you have to add the units of your stock (if you want to subtract, you will have to write the number in negative).
Column G (Inventory Date): add the date on which you want the stock movement to be recorded.
Column H (Movement Description): You can enter a description that will appear in the inventory history.
