Unlike the management through Excel , the Update stock functionality allows you to manage your inventory directly on the platform, viewing and applying stock changes stock in your products in a simple way.

In Holded there are three ways to update your stock from the platform: from the product sheet, from the product selector, or when creating your documents.

💎 Activate the gem Inventory to access stock management

1. Update stock from the product sheet

With this option you can view and modify the unit stock of a single product in each warehouse:

  1. Go to Inventory > Products , in the navigation bar

  2. Select a product from the list

  3. On the product page, click the "Update stock" button

  4. Specify the units you want to add or subtract, next to the Add field (to add units, enter the amount in positive; to subtract, use the negative sign)

  5. Include a description, if you want to remember any details about this operation

  6. Choose the warehouse on which to apply said movement

  7. Indicates the stock adjustment date

  8. Click the "Confirm" button

2. Update stock from the product selector

From the selector, you can massively update the stock of several products. There are two ways: manually, or with a barcode scanner.

Update manually

  1. Go to Inventory > Products , in the navigation bar

Also access from Control Panel > Operations > Update stock

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) button, top right

  3. Choose the option " Update stock"

  4. In the pop-up menu, click "Product List"

  5. From the Product List, use the search bar, the "+Filters" dropdown, or the paginator to find your products

From the "+Filters" selector, choose Categories or Tracking to narrow your search

  6. Indicate those in which you want to update stock by checking the boxes next to it

  7. Press "Select"

  8. In the following window, use the options to the right of each product to modify the stock:

    • "Add" - Adds or subtracts a specific number of units

    • "Set" enters a new total count in your inventory

  9. Select the affected Warehouse and the Date when the stock adjustment takes place

✨ If you selected Set in the previous step, the date will be today

  10. In Description, add a comment or details about the stock modification

  11. Click "Update Stock" to confirm stock adjustment

Update with barcode scanner

  1. Go to Inventory > Products , in the navigation bar

Also access from Control Panel > Operations > Update stock

  2. Click the three dots (⋮) button, top right

  3. Choose the option " Update stock"

  4. Scan your products to select them

💡 You can also use the "Scan your items" field to enter the barcode of your products instead of scanning them

  5. Once they are added to your list, scan again for the ones you want to add units to; Or, use the "Add" or "Set" options to the right of each product to modify the stock:

    • "Add" - Adds or subtracts a specified number of units

    • "Set": Enter a new total count in your inventory

  6. Select the affected Warehouse and the Date when the stock adjustment takes place

✨ If you selected Set in the previous step, the date will be today

  7. In Description, add a comment or details about the stock modification

  8. Click "Update Stock" to confirm stock adjustment
