Unlike the management through Excel, the Update stock functionality allows you to manage your inventory directly on the platform, simply visualizing and applying changes in the number of units of your products.
In Holded there are three ways to update your stock from the platform: from the product sheet, the product selector, or when creating your documents.
💎 Activate the gem Inventory to access stock management.
1. Update stock from the product sheet
With this option you can view and modify the unit stock of a single product in each warehouse:
Go to Inventory > Products, in the sidebar.
Select a product from the list.
On the product page, click the "Update stock" button.
Specify the units you want to add or subtract, next to the Add field (to add units, enter the amount in positive; to subtract, use the negative sign).
Include a description, if you want to remember any details about this operation.
Choose the warehouse on which to apply said movement.
Indicates the stock adjustment date.
Click the "Confirm" button.
2. Update stock from the product selector
From the selector, you can massively update the stock of several products. There are two ways: manually, or with a barcode scanner.
Update manually
Go to Inventory > Products, in the sidebar.
Click the three dots (⋮) button, top right.
Choose the option "Update stock".
In the pop-up menu, click "Product List", or add products by using the barcode scanner.
Use the search bar, the "+Filters" dropdown, or the pager to find your products (from the "+Filters" selector, choose Categories or Tracking to narrow your search).
Indicate those in which you want to update stock by checking the boxes next to it
Press "Select".
In the following window, use the options to the right of each product to modify the stock:
"Add": adds or subtracts a specific number of units.

Update stock in manufactured products ("Manufacture")
In Holded, manufacturing is an operation that consists of subtracting from inventory the units of materials used to produce a manufactured product, while adding the manufactured units of the same, maintaining an accurate record of stock levels.
While the conventional stock update only modifies the number of units of manufactured product (without altering the stock of materials), the "manufacture" function adds units of manufactured product and simultaneously subtracts the units of the materials that make it up.
