Consult aggregated data about your products and stock and carry out a detailed analysis

Inventory reports allow you to consult aggregated data about your products and stock to carry out a detailed analysis of your business. The data comes from the information on your invoices and orders, waybills, and stock adjustments.

To access them, follow these steps:

At the top right of most reports, you'll find options to filter and view specific information, or take specific actions:

  • Search bar: enter the keywords to perform the search.

  • Time Selector: Filter by dates or given time ranges.

  • Export: export the data in Excel or PDF format.

  • Line or bar chart: Displays the chart in linear or bar format.

  • Add / Remove Favorite: bookmark this report.

  • Columns: select which columns you want to be visible.


Cost of Sales Report

This report allows you to analyze detailed information about the sustained expenses to carry out your products or services. In this way, you can always be aware of the financial status of your business:

  • Date: the date of issue of the purchase invoice.

  • Type: the type of document.

  • Num: the document number.

  • Contact: the name of the contact associated with the document.

  • Fiscal code: the fiscal code of the contact associated with the document.

  • Cost: the purchase price without tax.

  • Subtotal: the sales price without tax.

  • Margin%: the percentage of profit obtained from the sale of the products that appear in the document.


Inventory Analysis Report

This report allows you to consult information about your sales and purchases related to all your products. In particular, you will be able to see how many units of each product have been sold and what profit your company has obtained:


You can click the ⓘ icon to see how the results are calculated.

  • SKU: the unique reference number that identifies the product.

  • Product name: the identifying name of the product.

  • Categories: a column will appear for each category.

  • Variants: color, size, shape, etc. A column will appear for each variant.

  • Sales (units): the number of product units sold.

  • Sales (€): total amount in € corresponding to the product units sold.

  • Average sales price: The average amount for which a company sells a product. Useful when a product has different prices.

  • Average Cost of Sales: The average amount a company spends to make a product.

  • Margin %: percentage of profit that a company makes when selling a product.

  • Total Profit: The amount a company earns from selling a product.

  • Sold %: the percentage of products sold.

  • Purchased (items): the number of product units purchased.

  • Purchased (€): the total amount corresponding to the product units purchased.

  • Median Purchase Price: The average amount at which a customer can purchase a product.

  • Stock (units): number of stock units of the product.

  • Stock (€): number of product units multiplied by the average cost.

  • Average cost of stock (€): average cost of the product on the last day of the selected period.

  • Order (units): the difference between the fictitious stock (products purchased minus products sold) and the actual stock (actual units in Holded).

  • Lost (€): Lost units multiplied by the Average Cost of the product on the last day of the selected period.

    ☝🏼You can combine sales by customer and product using this report. Simply click "Filter", select "Contact" and type the name of the client you need to find.


Stock Report

This report represents a general summary of your stock:

Stock Overview

  • Total Units: the total number of product units as of today.

  • Stock Value: the total value of the stock determined by the cost price of the products.

  • Average Cost: the average purchase price per product based on all the purchase invoices you have posted for that product.

  • Average Price: the average sales price is based on all the sales invoices you have posted for that product.

Detailed listing

  • SKU: the unique reference number that identifies the product.

  • Name: the identifying name of the product.

  • Categories: a column will appear for each category.

  • Location: storage location.

  • Units: total number of units of that specific product.

  • Stock Value: the total stock value of that specific product, calculated using the cost price.

  • Price: the sales price per unit of product without tax.

  • Unit cost: purchase price per unit of product without tax.


Current Stock Report

This report allows you to control the various stock statuses for each of your products. This way you will be able to control the number of unshipped or unreceived units of product in your orders, avoiding stock-outs or excessive storage of products:

  • SKU: the unique reference number that identifies the product.

  • Name: the identifying name of the product.

  • Current stock: stock of the product that is in the warehouse today.

  • Reserved stock: stock included in sales orders and not yet shipped.

  • Incoming stock: stock included in purchase orders and not yet received.

  • Virtual Stock: the stock value that takes into account current, reserved, and incoming stock.

  • Available stock: the amount of current stock that you can sell immediately, excluding reserved stock that is already committed to sales orders.


Stock Alarm Report

This report allows you to view those products whose stock is below the minimum threshold that you have entered when generating the stock alarm:

  • SKU: the unique reference number that identifies the product.

  • Name: the name of the product as you entered it on the platform.

  • Current Stock: the currently remaining units of the product.

  • Stock alarm: the minimum number of units used as a reference to activate the stock alarm.


Value of Material in Progress Report

This report allows you to focus your attention on the value of your stock for each of your products. In this way, you can quickly check the number of product units corresponding to not invoiced shipments, together with their total value:

  • Product: the name of the product, as you entered it into the platform.

  • SKU: the unique reference number that identifies the product.

  • Description: a brief description of the product features.

  • Units: the total number of units of that specific product as of today.

  • Cost: the purchase price without tax.

  • Value units: the total stock value of that specific product. It is determined by the cost of the products.



Last Purchase Report by Product

This report allows you to analyze different types of information related to each product broken down by month and year. You can select one of the following options:

  • Subtotal: the amount (excluding tax) related to sales of that product.

  • Total: the total amount (including tax) related to the sales of that product.

  • Units: the number of total units of that product.

  • Discount: the total amount of discount applied to that product.

  • Taxes: the total amount of taxes applied to that product.

  • Cost: the total amount before tax associated with your business's purchases of that product.


Traceability report

This report is designed for those who manage products with batches, as it allows you to track SKU/Lot, as well as filter by Document Type.

You will be able to track which clients you sent a specific batch to, verify the supplier from which you acquired it, or view the list of orders, invoices, sales, purchases or delivery notes related to it:


In this way, you will have access to a detailed batch record, which will facilitate the identification of any quality problems.
