Add to your projects reminder notes, files in the format you prefer, or lists with which to classify your tasks

Add notes to a project

Notes can help you remember important things about each project you're working on. Only project members will be able to view and edit already created notes:

  1. Select the project in which you want to create the note

  2. Go to the Notes tab:

  3. Click + Add Note

  4. Reports the following fields:

    • New Note : Use this field to enter the title of the note.

    • Start writing here : Click here to add note content. This section offers various editing options (font style, text alignment, etc.).

    • Color Picker : At the bottom you will find a color picker so you can apply the color you prefer to your note.

  5. Click outside the note

Your notes will be automatically saved in the Notes tab, inside your project:


Remove notes from a project

To remove notes from a project, follow these steps:

  1. Select the project in which you want to remove the note

  2. From the 'Notes' tab, access the already created note

  3. Click the three dots (⋮) menu at the top right

  4. Select "Delete"


Adding and organizing files to a project

Holded allows you to upload files that accompany and support each of the projects you are working on. You can add files in the format you prefer so that they are stored in the projects of your choice.

Add files

  1. Select the corresponding project

  2. Go to the "Files" tab:

  3. Click File Upload:

  4. Select the file you want to add to your project

  5. Confirm the action

Your files will be automatically saved in the 'Files' tab, inside your project:

Create folders and move files

You can create folders within each of your projects to organize the files you've uploaded:

  1. Go to Projects > Projects , and select the corresponding project

  2. Go to the "Files" tab

  3. Click "New Folder":

  4. Give it a name, and hit "Confirm"

To move items to the new folder, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the three dots (⋮) menu next to the file you want to move to the new folder and choose "Move":

  2. Select the destination folder from the dropdown menu

  3. Click "Move"

Download files from a project

  1. Go to Projects > Projects , and select the corresponding project

  2. Go to the "Files" tab

  3. Go to the three dots (⋮) menu next to the file you want to download and choose "Download":

Delete files from a project

  1. Go to Projects > Projects , and select the corresponding project

  2. Go to the "Files" tab

  3. Go to the three dots (⋮) menu next to the file you want to delete, and choose "Delete":


Add lists to your projects

Once you have created your project and selected the view format that best suits the way you work, you can add lists with which to categorize the tasks you create next. You can generate lists according to your needs, both by areas, phases or project status.

Remember that you can only add lists to those projects whose template supports this display format.

To add a list to a project, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Projects > Projects , and select the corresponding project

  2. Go to the "Board" tab (or "Kanban board", failing that):

    ☝🏼 Remember that not all projects contain the Board tab. In these cases it will not be possible to add lists.

  3. Accesses the "List" type view:

  4. Click "+ Add List":

  5. Enter a name, and click the "Add list" button to confirm its creation:

To change the name of the list, simply click on it to enter the new title.

If you want to remove it, click the three dots ("…") icon on the right and choose "Remove List".
