Solving problems: Paying my Holded subscription

My card has expired, or I have had to cancel it, and I cannot use it to pay my subscription.

Are you getting the message "Trial period ended" even though you have already upgraded your card or made a payment? Don't worry, this message can appear for several reasons:

  • You have unpaid invoices outstanding.

  • You have added a new card, but it is not marked as primary.

  • You have not yet chosen a subscription plan.

  • The payment failed due to a card error.

How to fix it step by step

1. Check if you have outstanding invoices

  1. Go to Menu > Subscription > Payment info, and click View invoices.

  2. If there are outstanding invoices, click on “Pay now”.

Once the invoice is paid, your access is automatically reinstated.

2. Check your payment method

Make sure your new card is marked as default:

  1. Click the three dots on the new card.

  2. Select “Mark as primary payment method”.

3. Add a second card (optional but recommended)

Having a spare card can prevent future problems.

  1. Click on “Add”.

  2. Enter the details of the new card.

  3. If needed, mark it as primary.

4. Choose your subscription plan

If you have already paid and your card is set up correctly, but the message still appears:

  1. Go to Choose your plan.

  2. Select the plan you need.

The message should disappear after this.

What if I've done all that and it still doesn't work?

  • Check if the card is active and has a balance.

  • Try again from another browser or clear your cache.

  • If you still have problems, write us from the chat and we will be happy to help you.

☝🏼 Remember that you can only pay your Holded subscription by credit or debit card. We do not accept bank transfers or direct debits.
