In accordance with current accounting regulations in Spain, the journal records all accounting movements generated during a fiscal period.

The entry for each of these movements is called accounting entry and is made following a chronological order and associating a specific number with each entry.

In Holded, the numbering of the entries is made from the date the accounting movement was recorded in the Journal (entry date).

Each time a sales or expense document is created or any other action that affects accounting is performed, the corresponding entry will be generated automatically in Holded. Just remember that the entry date may or may not coincide with the date indicated in the document that supports the movement (sales invoice, expense, etc.).
