With Holded Wallet, you can add other team members so they can carry out specific actions, such as making transfers or inviting new people within Holded. From one place, you can check who has access, edit permissions, or remove them when needed.

1. Accessing permission management

Follow these steps to open the management panel:

  1. Go to Banking > Accounts in the sidebar.

  2. Click on your Holded Wallet account.

  3. In the top right corner, click the three dots button (⋮).

  4. Select Manage permissions.

You'll see a list of current members and the permissions assigned to each.

2. Inviting new members

When you create your Holded Wallet account, the only person who appears on the list and has permissions is the Legal Representative. Until you invite more members, only that person will be able to operate the account.

To add more people:

  1. Open the Manage Permissions panel (as in the previous step).

  2. Click on the New member button.

  3. Choose the type of user (only for consultancies): choose between User from your organization or Your consultancy.

  4. Select a user from the drop-down menu.

    • If you do not have access to Treasury > Accounts, you will see a notice indicating this.

    • If you manage clients from a consulting firm or office, you can also invite external users to your Holded account who have delegated access.

☝🏼 Inviting a user to Holded Wallet does not automatically grant them access to the account statement or other Treasury accounts, unless you specifically grant them these permissions.

  5. Fill in (or edit) their basic information:

    • First and last name.

    • Phone number.

    • Date of birth.

☝🏼 Make sure that the information matches exactly with the invited user's ID. If the information is not the same, the invitation could generate errors later on when the user completes their verification.

  6. Check the permissions they need:

    • View own card activity: this permission is active by default and allows the member to receive one or more personal cards and view their own activity.

    • View account activity: allows you to check transactions from both your Holded Wallet account and other members' cards linked to it.

☝🏼 If the user does not have access to Treasury > Accounts, this permission only applies to the Holded Wallet account, and in no case to other connected accounts.

    • Make transfers: you can make payments from Holded Wallet.

    • Manage permissions: allows you to add, edit, or delete members and modify their permissions, provided that the user has this permission active.

  7. Click Invite.

☝🏼 You can only invite people who are already users in your Holded account.

3. Accepting a Holded Wallet invitation

When someone invites you to Holded Wallet, you will receive an email with a link to join. Depending on your permissions, you will also see a notification at the top of Accounts or My Cards. In either case, click Join now to continue.

Then, follow these steps:

  1. Enter your personal info (name, surname, date of birth, and phone number).

☝🏼 Make sure that the information you enter matches exactly what is on your ID. If there are any differences, the invitation may generate errors when completing the verification process.

  2. Verify your email address.

  3. Verify your identity by uploading a document that shows your photo.

This verification is important to confirm that the user is who they claim to be. By granting permissions to perform sensitive operations, we ensure traceability and the security of all actions within Holded Wallet.

☝🏼 If you don’t complete any of the verifications, you’ll see a notice at the top of your Holded account. You can finish the process later, but you won’t be able to use Holded Wallet until everything has been successfully verified.

If the information you entered doesn’t match the details provided by the person who invited you, the invitation will show an error. In that case, the best option is to cancel the invitation and send it again with the correct details.

Once everything is complete, you’ll be able to access Holded Wallet and use the features according to your assigned permissions.

4. Edit Member Permissions

You can change the permissions of any member, as long as you have the “Manage permissions” permission:

  1. Open the Manage permissions panel.

  2. Click on the member you want to edit.

  3. Adjust their permissions as needed.

  4. Click Save.

5. Removing a Member from Holded Wallet

You can only remove members if you have Manage Permissions permission:

  1. Open the Manage permissions panel.

  2. Click the three-dot button (⋮) next to their name.

  3. Select Remove member.

  4. Confirm the action.

The person will lose all permissions in Holded Wallet, but if they retain access to Treasury > Accounts, they will still be able to see the account even though they cannot operate it.
