With Holded Wallet, you can manage who has access to the account and what each user can do, such as viewing movements, making transfers, or managing permissions.
From a single panel, you can grant permissions to users from your organization or your accounting firm, modify access when needed, and revoke it if they no longer require it.
1. Access permission management
To manage access to Holded Wallet:
Go to Treasury > Accounts from the side menu.
Click on the Holded Wallet account.
In the top-right corner, open the three-dot menu (⋮).
Select Manage permissions.
You’ll see a list of all members who have access to the Holded Wallet account, along with their status and assigned permissions.
2. Grant permissions in Holded Wallet
When you create your Holded Wallet account, the only person listed with permissions is the Legal representative. Until you invite additional members, only that person can operate the account.
To add more people:
Go to Manage permissions (Treasury > Accounts > Holded Wallet > three-dot menu (⋮)).
Click Grant permissions.
Select the type of user you want to grant permissions to (accounting firms only):
User from your organization: people who are part of your company.
Your accounting firm: users with delegated access (for example, accountants or advisory firms).
This option appears automatically if your account is linked to an accounting firm.
From the dropdown, select a user.
If the user doesn’t have access to Treasury > Accounts, you’ll see a notice indicating this.
Users without access to Treasury can view Holded Wallet, but not other accounts.
☝🏼 Inviting someone to Holded Wallet does not automatically grant access to account statements or other Treasury accounts, unless you explicitly assign those permissions.
To grant permissions in Holded Wallet, the user’s identity must be verified. You’ll need to complete (or review) the following details:
First and last name.
Phone number.
Date of birth.
☝🏼 The details must match the user’s ID exactly. If you don’t know them precisely, the user can provide them later using the Request permissions option.
Select the permissions the user needs:
View own card activity: allows the member to receive one or more personal cards and view their own activity (enabled by default).
View account activity: allows viewing movements from the Holded Wallet account and cards assigned to other members.
☝🏼 If the user doesn’t have access to Treasury > Accounts, this permission applies only to the Holded Wallet account, not to other connected accounts.Make transfers: allows making payments from Holded Wallet.
Manage permissions: allows adding, editing, or removing members and modifying their permissions, as long as the user has this permission enabled.
Click Invite.
☝🏼 You can only grant permissions to people who are already users of your Holded account or who have delegated access as part of an accounting firm.
3. Accept an invitation to Holded Wallet
When someone invites you to Holded Wallet:
You’ll receive an email with a link to join.
Depending on your permissions, you’ll also see a notice in Accounts or My cards. Click Join now to continue.
To complete the process:
Enter your personal details. Make sure they match your identification document exactly.
Verify your email address.
Verify your identity by uploading an official photo ID.
This verification confirms the user’s identity and ensures the security and traceability of actions within Holded Wallet.
☝🏼 If you don’t complete a required verification, you’ll see a notice at the top of your Holded account. You can resume it later, but you won’t be able to use Holded Wallet until verification is complete.
If the details you enter don’t match the information provided by the person who invited you, the invitation will show an error. In that case, the best option is to cancel the invitation and resend it with the correct details.
Once everything is completed, you’ll be able to access Holded Wallet and operate according to the permissions assigned to you.
4. Edit a member’s permissions
If you have the Manage permissions permission, you can modify access at any time:
Go to Manage permissions (Treasury > Accounts > Holded Wallet > three-dot menu (⋮)).
Click on the person you want to edit.
Update the permissions as needed.
Click Save.
5. Remove a member from Holded Wallet
You can only remove members if you have the Manage permissions permission:
Go to Manage permissions
(Treasury > Accounts > Holded Wallet > three-dot menu (⋮)).Open the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the user’s name.
Select Remove member.
Confirm the action.
The user will lose all permissions in Holded Wallet.
If they still have access to Treasury > Accounts, they’ll continue to see the account, but won’t be able to operate it.
