From your Holded profile, you can have more than one account associated with the same email address. This allows you to:
Create new companies and manage them separately.
Access a demo account, a test environment where you can experiment without risk.
All actions related to your accounts are performed from the user menu in the upper left corner.
1. Create a new company in Holded
If you want to start working with a new company without affecting the previous ones:
Click on your account in the upper left corner and go to the Switch Account drop-down menu.
Click +Add Account at the bottom.
Choose the type of activity and complete the creation process.
Each company is created as a separate account, with its own plan, data, and settings.
☝🏼 You can create as many companies as you need, each with its own billing and user team.
2. Switch between your accounts
Once you have more than one company, you can easily switch between them. This includes your real accounts and, if you have one active, your demo account.
To switch accounts:
Click on your account in the top left corner and go to the Switch Account drop-down menu.
Choose the company you want to access.
☝🏼 If you are in the demo account, you will also see the option Return to real account.
Please note:
Only companies associated with your email address will appear.
Each account has its own settings, users, and subscription plan.
If you are a collaborator in several companies, you can also access them from this same menu.
3. Delete a company from your Holded account
If you no longer need a company in Holded, there are two ways to stop having access to it, depending on your role:
If you are not the owner, ask the company owner to delete your user from Users > User Management.
This will remove it from the Switch Account menu, but your personal profile will remain active for accessing other companies.
If you are the owner, you can permanently delete the company. Learn how to delete a company from your Holded account here.
This action deletes all company data and cannot be undone. Companies must be deleted one by one, as it is not possible to do so collectively. If you have other companies linked to your user, you will still be able to access them as normal.
4. The demo account (testing environment)
Holded includes a demo account linked to your main account, designed for testing or familiarizing yourself with the platform without affecting your real data.
This environment, also known as a sandbox, is ideal for testing features, templates, or integrations before applying them to your business, or showing the platform to clients or colleagues without compromising real information.
